This expedition explores a real kaleidoscope of landscapes and cultures, highlighting the diversity of one of South America's most spectacular countires. The team trek the world famous Inca Trail, arriving at Machu Picchu through the 'Gate of the Sun' at dawn. There is then a chance to explore the area surrounding Cusco on mountain bike, before heading into the jungle by boat.
The jungle provides an amazing setting for community project work with the Piro Indian community, and also offers and incredible environment to explore by boat. This is a magnificant expedition and a truly memorable experience!

Cusco to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings
Day 9 - A fabulous day

Day 10 - An early start
and off to the jungle! From the Andes to the Cloud Forest
arriving at Pilcopata late in the day
Day 11 - A short drive
to the river port of Atalaya then our adventure continues by boat
along the Alto Madre de Dios river. Watch out for amazing
wildlife!
Days 12 - Visit native
community. Continue by boat to Lake Salvador
Day 13 - There is an
impressive trail system around Lake Salvador, allowing us to
explore and see wildlife. Optional jungle night walk
Day 14 - Explore Lakes
Otorongo and Salvador and forest nature trail
Day 15 - Travel by
boat along Manu river to Boca Manu. Chance to visit
community of Valle de los Islas and see their school. Stay
overnight with local community
Day 16 - Continue boat
trip along Madre do Dios river to Atalaya, then by road to
Pilcopata
Day 17 - Return to
Cusco stopping in Cloud Forest en route, for walk in the
clouds.
Day 18 - Free day in
Cusco.
Day 19 - Fly back to
Lima for connecting flight
Day 20 - Arrive back in
