We were the first Approved Activity Provider (AAP) for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme. In summer 2010 we consolidated our position as the leading provider of overseas Gold DofE expeditions.
Staff Ratios
Far Frontiers Expeditions is generous with staff ratios. On most trips a minimum of 13 Expeditioners allows for 2 complimentary School Leaders.

Successful Everest & Makalu Military Expeditions
We were chosen to deliver the successful Spring 2008 British Military Makalu Expedition which carried out the very first Makalu traverse, after our previous successful attempt on Everest by the Royal Marines in 2003.
The Royal Geographical Society with IBG
We were the official provider of tours for the RGS with IBG (Institute of British Geographers) for five years. This is an incredibly prestigious and coveted position and no other company has ever had this privilege.
